This is a primarily remote position and candidates must live in Minnesota, Ohio or South Carolina to be considered.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The HR Generalist/Recruiter, in People Operations will align day-to-day People Operations in support of the Navita Health mission. As a direct report to the leadership team, the HR Generalist/Recruiter will enjoy unique exposure to all People facets of a fast growing behavioral health organization.

Responsibilities span these functional areas: Benefits administration, learning, talent development, experience across ‘moments that matter’ (i.e., pre-hire, hire, development, exit), change management, policy implementation, employee relations, recruitment + employment branding, and compliance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned.

  • Pull standard metrics (turnover, hiring to plan, engagement scores, etc.) as a way to inform leadership on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Stay well-connected with employees to ensure Navita Health remains a top place to work; recommend engagement interventions as needed to the Supervisor.
  • Collaborate with finance & accounting on shared operations such as payroll, benefits administration and billing, annual compliance audits, etc.
  • Input compensation changes and benefit activities (qualifying events, publicizing health plan activity/healthy habit incentives, etc.) into systems as needed.
  • Action against prioritized hiring plan (day-to-day of candidate sourcing) and report weekly on pipeline.
  • Support full cycle recruitment with job description drafting, publicizing and organizing logistics, interviewing, offers and pre-hire and hire logistics for all W2 and contractor candidates.
  • Facilitate credentialing processes for behavioral health services.
  • Execute onboarding and work with internal support services such as Finance, Operations and Clinical Services to ensure a seamless experience from offer to on the job training.
  • Ensure compliance with learning needs, including HIPAA, Fraud Waste & Abuse, and other like-training.
  • Research employment matters as needed, including sample policies through forums like SHRM.
  • Support in development of employee-facing content, compensation and benefits communication materials that support the vision as set by the leadership team, etc.
  • Ensure employer value proposition / messaging is consistent across job descriptions and external facing employer branding avenues as well as identify opportunities for employer branding (events, partnerships, community happenings).
  • Demonstrate coaching skills to assist talent through development and performance matters including performance improvement plans.
  • Support creation and delivery of contents for meetings as needed.
  • Other duties and projects as directed by the leadership team.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • 4+ years in People (HR) roles, with at least 1-2 years in a Generalist or Recruiter role.
  • Experience in full-cycle recruitment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or like discipline, such as Psychology.
  • Proven track record of using a data driven and metrics approach to People.
  • Strong technical experience with HRIS, ATS, performance development and LMS systems.
  • Exceptional communication skills across the organization, in the market with candidates and with internal stakeholders (employees & leaders).
  • Mid-level experience with People Operations principles and practices, and administration of subsequent programs.
  • Advanced understanding of applicable employment regulations, compliance and laws.

Preferred (Nice to Have) Qualifications

  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR, or SPHR) certification.
  • Experience in Behavioral Health, predominantly substance-use disorder (SUD) and/or Mental Health (MH) facilities or institutions.
  • Multi-lingual capabilities.
  • Experience in digital healthcare, SaaS and/or other companies at the intersection of health & tech.
  • Experience in the startup or emerging growth atmosphere

Language Ability: Read, analyze and interpret business, professional, technical or governmental documents. Write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers and the public.

Mathematical Ability: Work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability:   Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Hiring range for this position is $75,000-$85,000 based on education and experience.
